The company is now the largest commercial asphalt paving company in the St. Louis area and ranks as a leader in commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional paving. In the mid-1980's Byrne & Jones expanded it's services into the niche market of building all-weather running tracks. The company is now known as a predominant builder of all-weather tracks. Other specialty paving projects include tennis courts and field facilities.

Robert C. Byrne, Jr., Co-Founder and President, began the company in 1976 to finance his college education. After graduation, Robert Byrne bought out his partner's interest in the company and decided to go full-stream to expand the company. The company's growth has been steady and constant ever since it's inception.

Now employing over 80 people, the company continues to be recognized as the leader within the market it serves.
