How we started: From Driveways to large Commercial Asphalt Projects
What began as a summer job to finance Robert Byrne’s education has grown into one of the largest commercial asphalt paving contractors in the Midwest. In 1976, Bob started sealing driveways and steadily grew the business each summer until he graduated from college. He then decided to devote all his resources and energy to growing the business and doing it the right way – by working to assure the satisfaction of each and every client.
Initially focused on residential paving projects, Byrne & Jones Construction soon shifted its attention to commercial endeavors, serving property managers, churches, private schools, and apartment complexes. This expansion naturally led them into the world of site construction, where they became a full-service contractor, specializing in all aspects of asphalt and concrete work.
